SA To Be Removed From UK Red List

South Africa is set to be removed from the UK’s red travel ban list.

According to the Telegraph – the UK is expected to disband quarantine for almost all countries. So far, 54 countries including South Africa are on the UK’s red list. Due to the prevalence of the fast-spreading Delta variant, the red list will cut down the listed countries from 54 to nine.

South Africa, Brazil, and Mexico are expected to be removed from the list. This means citizens would be allowed to directly fly to the UK and not quarantine in third-party countries.
