City Law Enforcement had their hands full as chaos erupted on Clifton Beach. Three people were arrested respectively.

The first was nabbed for interfering with officers after he had nudged others to urinate in public; the second for riotous behavior, assaulting an officer, and causing malicious damage to property. The third was arrested on Victoria Road. He was caught removing wheel trims from vehicles and then jumping into a taxi.

The chaos erupted as thousands of students flocked to the beach to celebrate their valedictories. Officials also confiscated alcohol.

City law enforcement spokesperson Wayne Dyason says this isn’t the first time end-of-year celebrations turned sour at the beach.
