The Hout Bay community expressed its deep concern over the safety of children in the area. This comes after the body of a child was found in a sandy and rocky area of the Imizamo Yethu informal settlement.

Community leader Samkelo Krweqe says the community is shocked after the discovery of the child’s body. A DNA test will be done to determine if the body is that of three-year-old Anothando Mhlobo. He was reported missing in August.
