The body of a newborn baby girl has been found dumped in an open field in the Delft area. The baby was found covered in a brown jacket under a tree this morning. Police spokesperson FC van Wyk says a post-mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death. He adds that the baby’s mother has yet to be located.
