It remains to be seen whether South African wicket keeper Quinton de Kock will remain part of the T20 World Cup squad. This after he abruptly withdrew after not following a directive that the national team take the knee against racism during the remaining matches at the international tournament in the United Arab Emirates. According to Proteas captain Temba Bavuma they learnt of de Kock’s withdrawal just hours before they were supposed to go out and play. He concedes that the news took them back as a team.
