Police Union Rejects Government’s Public Wage Deal

Two policing unions and Nehawu have refused the government’s public sector wage deal.

It offered workers a salary increase of 1.5% and a monthly allowance of over R1 000 for a year. The Public Service Association has agreed to the interim offer, but why are the other unions holding out?
