What had been described as ‘aggressive urbanism’ in Palestine has far extended to oppressive occupation; with land theft, displacement, and abductions becoming the norm. The resistance in Sheikh Jarrah, Silwan and other Palestinian towns defending their homes has seen growing international support. But the trauma of the constant threat of being thrown from one’s home hangs over Palestinians.
