Indications are that the Northern Cape has already passed its peak of the Covid-19 third wave. According to the Health Department’s Deputy Director-General Dr Nicholas Crisp they are hoping that the province doesn’t experience a second minor peak. It comes as the number of reported infections in the country continues to rise as the Delta variant displaces other variants.
