Huzaifa Sange who was kidnapped during a house robbery in Newfields in Athlone has been reunited with his family.

According to police the 21-year-old was unharmed. No further details were provided.

On Friday night four males entered the his home in Lodewyk Street and ordered the family to lie on the kitchen floor. They ransacked the house, stole cellphones and an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects fled with the family’s white Hyundai.

Police say their investigation into this crime continues.
