Judgement Reserved In The Ace Magashule Suspension Case

Judgement has been reserved in the Johannesburg High Court involving suspended ANC Secretary-General Ace Magashule.

He was seeking leave to appeal the court’s previous ruling to uphold his suspension. It comes, after his refusal to voluntarily step down as indicated by the ANC’s step aside rule that instructs members facing criminal charges to temporarily vacate their post pending the outcome of their case.

Magashule argues that the court prejudged the matter and was biased in how it handled his case with the ruling party.
