IN PICTURES: Farewell, Boeta Ali Isaacs

Station manager, Tashreeq Truebody, says that Boeta Ali was a great connector of people, and was one of Radio 786’s greatest assets. Brand and Communications Manager, Rushni Allie, remembers his complete dedication to Radio 786, which even extended to him declining several other job opportunities. Boeta Ali is remembered for his inexhaustible energy, and commitment to Radio 786 and the community it serves.

Many are familiar with the receptionist role Boeta Ali played, but the behind-the-scenes role was one that the Radio 786 family will never forget.

"...Boeta Ali was one of a kind - he would spend days riding around on our buses to check on things and we could rely on him to check our fares book with an eagle eye so that he could alert us immediately if there were any errors."

Boeta Ali - the heart, soul and life of the party!

While we are deeply saddened by the loss of Boeta Ali Isaacs, we are comforted, however, by the fact that we shared moments with a remarkable personality. We are comforted by the fact that whenever he bid farewell to someone it was a warm greeting and a du’a for one’s well-being.

Always willing to assist with Radio 786's outreach efforts
