Golden Arrow Bus Torched in Nyanga

There has been yet another attack on a passenger bus in Cape Town. A Golden Arrow bus and a bakkie not belonging to the company were torched at the Nyanga Terminus this morning.

At least 22 other buses were also damaged due to stoning. One passenger was injured.

Golden Arrow suspects that these attacks are linked to the impounding of a number of taxis in the area on Thursday. It says there was an attempted petrol bombing and stone throwing during that operation.

Golden Arrow is operating from the Nyanga Police Station as a precaution.
