Black Friday madness could serve as Covid-19 ‘super spreader’

As Black Friday inches closer, experts have warned that traditional end-of-year functions and major shopping centres could serve as COVID-19 “super spreaders”. Experts have issued a warning of a potential second-wave of infections occurring.

MEC for Economic Opportunities and Finance David Maynier says his department will be meeting with major retailers and property management companies of major shopping centres, to discuss risk management strategies.
