South Africa’s Paralympic team has bagged seven medals; four gold, two bronze, and one silver.

Adding to the list of achievements for Team SA, they have also broken three world records. Sports Minister Nathi Mthethwa has hailed the team for their accomplishments at the Paralympic Games.

Louzanne Coetzee – a visually impaired marathon runner secured her second gold medal and ended the games as South Africa’s flag bearer.
