The body of a woman believed to be in her twenties has been found next to Olieboom Road in Schaapkraal, Philippi last night.

Upon arrival by medical personnel, she was declared deceased on the scene. There were no visible wounds or injuries to her body.

An inquest has been opened for investigation. Police have urged anyone with information to contact Investigating Detective, Sergeant Bangile Mhlakaza on 021 690 1517.
