Part 1 – The Covid-19 pandemic has brought a myriad of disruptions to the 2020 school year. Interruptions to teaching, school closures and having to work from home, will the matrics of 2020 be ready come November? And how has the Western Cape Education Department responded?

National Senior Certificate exams, along with the previously June-scheduled exams will be written in tandem in November. The decision comes to allow for critical topics and subjects to be explored and covered. Chief Director of Curriculum and Assessment at the WCED, Haroun Mohamed joins us On The Couch for more.
