Public Service and Administration Minister Senzo Mchunu has appointed a high-level task team, to help the government through the National School of Government (NSG) to finalise the National Implementation Framework Towards Professionalisation of the Public Service. In 2020, a draft framework was released for public comment, following Cabinet’s approval which is in line with the commitment made by the sixth administration to create a public consultation process. But how will this framework work, and who will it benefit?
