Instead of hopping and skipping on three legs, a lucky sheep whose foot got stuck in a snare received its very own prosthetic leg. This is all thanks to the Fallen Angel Pet Rescue and prosthetist Eugene Rossouw.
Co-Founder of the Fallen Angel Pet Rescue Gayl Basson says after a visit to a farm in Sutherland where the injured sheep resided, she decided to take to social media requesting assistance for the three-legged sheep.
Eight weeks later and the then-three-legged sheep is adjusting to being able to walk on all fours.
