South Africa’s youth are being sacrificed for profits.

This is the contention of Saftu’s spokesperson, Trevor Shaku.

“The private sector is not coming to the party,” says Shaku.

He was speaking as President Cyril Ramaphosa claims that government is making gains to address the youth unemployment rates in South Africa.

This, as South Africa’s employment figures have been a worry for some time, with the impact of Covid-19 and the global economic crisis hitting citizens.
