Radio 786 to host its first-ever High School Quiz

In just under two weeks, Radio 786 will be hosting its first-ever High School Quiz. Organisers say that the quiz is aimed at celebrating academic excellence among Grade 10 and 11 learners in Cape Town.

Learners from schools across the city will compete in a series of knowledge-based challenges testing general knowledge, critical thinking and teamwork.

The winning school will receive R20,000 in prize money. Each member of the winning team will also be awarded a tablet for their achievement. OASIS Group Holdings has come on board as the headline sponsor of the inaugural quiz. It’s Executive Director, and Head of Marketing and Brand, Bint Nur Ebrahim:

“At Oasis, we believe that being part of the community means contributing to its future. That is why we are proud to partner with Radio 786 on this initiative. By investing in young people and creating opportunities for them to learn and grow, we hope to make a difference that is not only meaningful today but lasting for generations to come.”

The Radio 786 High School Quiz in partnership with Oasis Group Holdings, takes place on Saturday, 15 August, and is expected to become an annual flagship event for the station.
