The Patriotic Alliance’s leader Gayton McKenzie’s electioneering visit to Bonteheuwel was met by protests.

Pro-Palestinian residents gave him the cold shoulder on Thursday night over his unapologetic support for the Israeli occupation’s genocide in Gaza. They say he is not welcome in this Cape Flats community.

But McKenzie defied these objections and told his supporters that the time that they tell us where to walk has passed. A reference to the oppressive apartheid system which among others dictated the movement of black people. But McKenzie exposed his hypocrisy as he is fine with such oppressive practices being applied to Palestinians by Israel.

The Zionist entity which is waging a genocidal aggression on Palestinians in Gaza has turned the enclave into a concentration camp for the past 17 years. Israel controls their movement while in the West Bank the Zionist entity controls Palestinian movement through its colonial checkpoints.
