The Israeli occupation regime is attacking the religious rights of Palestinians.

Zionist forces carried out an assault on the Al Aqsa Mosque compound. They attacked the Al Qibli prayer hall as well as Muslim worshippers with sound bombs and tear gas, leaving a trail of destruction.

Scores of Palestinian worshippers were kidnapped with local media reporting that people were dragged to prison after being beaten.

The Israeli aggression provoked fierce confrontations in several parts of the occupied lands including Al Quds, Nablus and Al Khalil.

The Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas has condemned this latest Israeli attack as “an unprecedented crime” and called on Palestinians in the West Bank to go en masse to the Al-Aqsa Mosque to defend it.

It has become common for the occupying regime to ramp up its aggression on Palestinians during the sacred fasting month of Ramadaan and to target religious sanctities.
