Palestinians – whether Christian or Muslim – will never accept the Israeli occupation as they are a people who believe they are free.
Omar Harami, Director of the Christian organisation, Sabeel Ecumenical Liberation Theology Centre, says regardless of how many permits the Israelis provide or don’t give for Christians to pray, the entire system is illogical and unacceptable. It comes as Zionist Israel is seeking to deny Palestinian Muslims and Christians access to their religious places, in particular in Al-Quds, Jerusalem where the holy Al Aqsa Mosque and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre are located.

Harami says the biggest issue is the Israeli occupation which wants to control and dictate to Palestinian where they can work, when they can farm their land, and whom they can marry. Orthodox Christians in Palestine are observing the Easter celebrations this weekend.
However, the Zionist regime has placed several restrictions on this religious holiday, even denying Palestinians permits to attend the Church services in Al Quds.
