Grant beneficiaries have been left frustrated as more post offices are closing its doors, leaving them with no option but to go outside their area to withdraw their money.
Ward councillors and community leaders have reported a spike in complaints over the long queues that pensioners have needed to wait in just to access their money.
Radio 786 has reliably learned that the Western Cape Social Development Department had met with Sassa on Thursday to address these growing concerns.
