Facebook Info Dumped Online Leads To More Privacy Questions

Facebook has done it once again, as a user in a low-level hacking forum has published the phone numbers and personal data of hundreds of millions of users for free online. It includes the personal information of over 533 million Facebook users from 106 countries. This means that their phone numbers, Facebook IDs, full names, locations, birth dates, bios, and – in some cases – email addresses have been exposed. So will the implementation of South Africa’s POPI Act prove effective against these kinds of breaches?
