The court is expected to rule on the future of the people occupying the Castle of Goodhope precinct. The matter has been postponed to November 10.
A woman, identified as Wanga Kape, and her children, have been camped on the property claiming to be of Khoi descent. However Paramount Chief, Tania Kleinhans-Cedras has been monitoring the family’s behaviour over the past few days.
She alleges that their conduct is suspicious; from how they interact with tourists, to how they dress. Kleinhans-Cedras says that Kape and her children are seeking to make money from tourists.
