Blitzbokke camp in violation of SA’s decision to downgrade ties with Israel

South Africa’s Blitzbokke will host the Israeli 7’s rugby team for a training camp. The ANC Youth League in the Western Cape says that this is an unacceptable misuse of the country’s sporting team. It plans to raise its concerns with the relevant sporting bodies, and Sports Minister Nathi Mthethwa. Israeli media reports that their team will travel to the SAS Rugby Academy in Stellenbosch in December.

This is in violation of South Africa’s decision to downgrade diplomatic ties with the Zionist entity. This revelation comes as the Israeli occupying regime continues its oppression of Palestinians on their homeland.
