Residents of various informal settlements across Cape Town are adamant that Human Rights Day could not have been celebrated because so many of their basic human rights are violated on a daily basis. On Monday, protestors demonstrated in Sea Point. Residents living in informal settlements say they don’t have access to running water, decent sanitation, and some electricity.
