An alleged gang member has been arrested in Delft in connection with a string of cases including murder and attempted murder.

The 31-year-old suspect was nabbed in the Wesbank. Police spokesperson, FC Van Wyk says the wanted man was traced by detectives. He was found in possession of a firearm and ammunition.

The suspect was allegedly sent to kill a witness in another case.

The suspect is expected to appear in the Blue Downs Magistrate’s Court.
