Policing has been beefed-up in Ocean View following a deadly mass shooting.

Six men were gunned down in a house in Neptune Lane.

The Ocean View Community Policing Forum’s chairperson, Mansoer Ismail says the incident is gang related and that this shooting was planned. He adds that they are looking at the circumstances surrounding that house. It’s believed that the gunmen were not from the community.

Last week four people were shot in Delft. Two of them were killed and two others were injured. They were found in an abandoned building. All of them were in their twenties. The motive behind that shooting is still unclear at this stage.
