Western Cape residents have been urged not to take their frustrations of poor governance and lack of policing out on foreign nationals.

This, after the notorious anti-immigrant group Operation Dudula launched a Western Cape branch on Saturday.

Operation Dudula has been fueling concerning xenophobic sentiments in other parts of the nation.

In response, DA Western Cape spokesperson Ricardo Mackenzie says Operation Dudula’s claims of being an anti-crime organisation is contradictory because it incites violence, theft, and intimidation against vulnerable members of society.
