Additional police investigators have been called in to help find the four kidnapped Moti brothers in Polokwane. The siblings aged six, 11, 13, and 15 were abducted while en route to school.

Armed suspects accosted the BMW they were travelling in and then fled with the boys in two vehicles towards the N1 north. Police spokesperson Motlafela Mojapelo says a multi-disciplinary team of investigators was established and are on the ground looking for clues.

Investigations revealed that the second vehicle which had the boys cellphones had turned back into the city.

The Moti family’s lawyer believes that extortion is the motive behind the kidnapping.
