Woolworths Recalls Apple Juice Over Toxin Concern

SHARE

Woolworths has recalled several of its branded 200ml cartons apple juices following contamination.

It found that the products contained levels of patulin – a toxin produced by several different molds that were above regulatory limits. According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), patulin consumption may cause nausea, a runny tummy and vomiting.

Customers who have purchased the product have been urged to return the product to their nearest Woolworths store and get a refund.
