A report by a United Nations(UN) scientific panel, says that the world’s climate is changing at unprecedented levels adding that humans are to blame.

Vice Chair of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change(IPCC), Youba Sokona says that all of Africa is vulnerable; basing this assessment on the level of development on the continent.

Sokona warns that Africa is also highly exposed to climate extremes, which amplifies the problems that the continent is experiencing, including poverty, limited infrastructure, conflicts and urbanization.

With this ‘Doom’s Day’ forecast, can it be addressed?
