At least seven people including a woman in a wheelchair have been wounded in a shooting in the Cape Town CBD. It’s believed that unidentified suspects opened fire at the station deck before fleeing in various directions.

They continued discharging shots. Police say crime experts and detectives are combing three scenes in Marine Drive, Strand and Buitenkant Streets for clues. At least one suspect, a 31-year-old was apprehended by traffic officials. A firearm was confiscated. Cases of attempted murder are being investigated. Police say the possibility that the incident is taxi-related is not ruled out.
