Schools will reopen on July 19 as the holiday period has been brought forward to accommodate level 4 of the lockdown. Classes will conclude this Wednesday.

This as the country has kicked off its vaccinations of teachers. They will receive the Johnson and Johnson jab.

Teachers in the Western Cape have been reminded to stick to their Covid-19 vaccination date and venue. This as the province opens up more facilities to accommodate the education staff eligible for the inoculation. Education MEC, Debbie Schafer says that they are also working to ensure that the process is not violated by those who are not eligible to receive the jab.
