Israel’s head of tourism, Haim Katz, is in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, attending a United Nations conference. He’s presence there marks the very first public visit to Saudi Arabia by an Israeli official.

The visit comes as the Riyadh regime takes another step towards normalisation with Zionist Israel.

Saudi Arabia’s crown prince Mohammad bin Salmaan had earlier expressed Riyadh’s support for the Palestinian cause. Riyadh has also sent its first ambassador to Palestine.
