South Africa’s so called “black diamonds” will be headed towards retirement in the next two decades. A study by UCT’s Liberty Institute of Strategic Marketing found that there was a massive asset catch-up amidst the black middle class since 1994. There’s also an attempt to overcome the economic struggles of their parents and retire comfortably.
