SA Paralympic Team Bags Two Gold Medals

South Africa’s Paralympic team has bagged two gold medals thus far.

Anrune Weyers won Team SA’s first gold medal in the women’s 400-meter final in 56.05 seconds. Securing the second gold, Ntando Mahlangu shattered the men’s long jump world record with his final leap of 7.17 meters.

Speaking to Radio 786, Head of Team SA Leon Fleiser expressed his confidence in the country’s Paralympic team saying that not only have they worked hard to prepare for the respective events, but they are ready to make South Africa proud.
