Radio 786 was honoured to be part of the Western Cape Business Opportunities Forum (WECBOF) Women’s Day celebration on 28 August, held under the inspiring theme “I Did It My Way!” The event brought together women entrepreneurs, business leaders and changemakers to celebrate their journeys, achievements and contributions to society and the economy.
With a focus on courage, authenticity and leadership, the event highlighted the importance of women embracing their individual journeys rather than feeling pressured to follow traditional definitions of success.
Among the key messages shared was the idea that leadership does not always have to be about power or authority. Instead, it can be about creating opportunities for others, building strong teams, supporting those around you and having the courage to lead in your own way.
