Senior Hamas official Haroun Nasser al-Din has reaffirmed Al Aqsa’s central importance to Palestinians, both religiously and nationally. He has warned that Israeli incursions, settler desecrations, and police actions are part of a broader Zionist campaign to assert control over the sacred compound. Nasser al-Din has praised the resilience of worshippers who continue to defend Al-Aqsa despite mounting Israeli restrictions.
This is the status quo in Al Quds, and the Al Aqsa Flood Battle is part of Palestinians drawing a Red Line against these incursions.
