Government says it respects the rights of workers to strike.

The Department of Public Service and Administration says workers need to understand that the no work no pay principle will be implemented to workers opting to participate in the strike.

Tomorrow, the public service workers will embark on a nationwide strike following repeated wage talk deadlocks.

This, as unions, are demanding a 10 percent wage increase while government is only willing to budge for three percent.
