A 20-year-old man was killed and three others wounded in a shooting in Parkwood. Among the injured is an eight-year-old girl.

Police spokesperson Captain F.C Van Wyk says the shooting occurred on Sunday night in Francis Court, in Parkers Walk. The motive for the attack is still being investigated.

In Lotus River, four people including a nine-year-old child were shot and injured. They were struck in a drive-by shooting in Six Avenue. The attack happened before 5pm on Sunday.

Van Wyk says the possibility that this shooting is gang related is being investigated. No arrests have been made in both incidents.
