Kaunda an intellectual giant

The late Zambian leader, Kenneth Kaunda, had a great understanding of the importance of education in ensuring his country’s liberation.
He ensured that Zambia cultivated grounded intellectuals, which ultimately helped overthrow European dominance in the country. Kaunda’s role in forging relationships with other liberation movements on the continent cannot be underestimated.
