A Habibia Primary School learner fell victim to a hijacking outside the school premises this afternoon.

The parent’s car was stolen while the child was still inside the vehicle. Fortunately, the child is unharmed. The school has appealed to parents to be hyper-vigilant when fetching their children, as well as for learners to wait inside the school grounds for their transport to arrive.

Police were not available for immediate comment.
