The violent targeting of Muslims in India, the skewed coverage of the Ukrainian conflict and subsequent refugee situation, are just two examples of how Islamophobia is gripping the world.

Renowned author, speaker and analyst, Professor Khaled Beydoun has written two books dealing with the subject of Islamophobia.

And we sat down with him during his visit to Cape Town to discuss these and other issues affecting the Muslim world.

*Beydoun is a law professor, author and public intellectual. He serves as a law professor at Wayne State University, a Scholar-in-Residence at the Berkman Klein Center at Harvard University, and Associate Director of the Damon J. Keith Center for Civil Rights in Detroit.
