Are Ward Councillors properly equipped with the necessary skill-set and leadership to be in their respective positions?

In comparison to previous municipal elections, this year’s poll is allowing for independent candidates to also join the pool. However, residents have raised concern over the uptick in some community members, who haven’t contributed to the betterment of their area, standing as ward councillor candidates. They have attributed this to greed instead of an actual passion or desire to improve their community.
