International News: RCEP – Creating Distance From The U.S

There’s a new Asian trading block – the largest in the world – Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership. This includes 10 South East Asian countries, including South Korea, China, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.

It has been largely viewwed as an extension of China’s influence in the region. It excludes the United States. Is China taking another step to boot the U.S off the power pedestal? Joining the NRA team, is Researcher at Southern and East African Institiute, Riyaaz Tayyib.
