Citrusdal SAPS officer accused of rape to appear in court

A Citrusdal police constable accused of rape is set to appear in court. The officer was arrested for allegedly violating a woman who was in police custody.

The police watchdog Ipid says the officer allegedly went into a holding cell and committed the crime. The incident was then reported to Ipid.
