British Media Skews Palestine Coverage

While mainstream media once again showed themselves up during the Zionist regime’s multi-pronged attacks on Palestinians last month, a study has evidence of the British media’s skewed coverage. The Muslim Council of Britain’s Centre for Media Monitoring (CfMM) found that during the 11-day assault, there were 62,400 online print articles and 7,997 television broadcasts in the UK reporting on the incidents. However, its wording had softened the Israeli brutality. Referring to the Sheikh Jarrah land theft as an eviction, and counting the death toll from Israeli attacks on Gaza, British media failed to say that Palestinians made up the majority.
